Meet our Roundtable Panelists
Moderator | Stacey A. Gordon, MBA
Leading at the intersection of diversity, inclusion, and workplace culture, in her role as Executive Advisor and Diversity Strategist at Rework Work, Stacey Gordon coaches and counsels executive leaders on DEI strategies for the business, while offering a no-nonsense approach to education for the broader employee population.
Stacey’s book, UNBIAS: Addressing Unconscious Bias at Work debuted at #1 on Amazon’s Hot New Release list and is also available at Barnes & Nobles, and wherever books are sold. Stacey is the creator of the second most viewed course across the LinkedIn learning platform, surpassing more than 1 million unique learners, which also includes her popular resume course. Her unconscious bias course has been translated into at least four languages and she has worked with people managers and executive leaders from companies such as American Express, ADP, Kia Motors, Hewlett Packard, Walmart, GE and many others to deliver notable sessions that support their D&I efforts. She earned her MBA from Pepperdine University Business School and her SHRM-SCP certification, as well as the SHRM Inclusive Workplace Culture Credential.
As Product Lead at Google Assistant, Shikha is the product lead for Productivity features such as Reminders on the Google Assistant. Previously, she helped build the first ever Google Assistant powered Smart Displays and was at the forefront of innovating for this new device type.
She has a Bachelors and Masters in Computer Science from IIT Delhi and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. You may recognize her from Leslie Garcia-Amaya’s recent Google I/O talk!
Nithya Thadani is CEO of RAIN, a leading voice technology firm that builds conversational AI experiences and software. RAIN has helped dozens of F500 companies design best-in-class voice applications including Nike, Starbucks, Amazon, Marriott and Blackrock. Nithya brings over a decade of experience in innovation, investment banking and private equity to fundamentally change how people interact with technology in ways that are human-centered and can drive measurable business value. Nithya was named as one of Voicebot.ai’s Top Visionaries in Voice 2020 and Adweek’s 10 Young Influentials in Tech. She serves as the Chairwoman of TechMamas, a community for mothers balancing careers in technology, and she is a Women in Voice NY founding member and chapter lead. Nithya holds an MBA from The Wharton School.
Jossie Haines has spent 20 years in the tech industry as an engineering leader at the forefront of emerging technology across Silicon Valley, including management roles at Apple, Tile, Zynga and American Express. She is currently VP of Software Engineering at Tile and leads the mobile, backend, web, and platform engineering teams that empower users to find millions of lost items every day. She also heads up the diversity, equity and inclusion efforts across Tile, and started the Tile mentoring program. Jossie is on a mission to keep women in tech. She spends her free time speaking about retaining women in tech, empathy in engineering, and effective and fair management practices that reduce bias and empower all team members to thrive. She has given over 40 talks in the last 2 years including at the Grace Hopper, and Empowered Women of the World conferences. She is also an active mentor at the Mentoring Club, Power to Fly, UCSC and Plato.
