New Executive Director Announced!
Deborah Akinyele
Women in Voice
As a lifelong advocate for diversity and inclusion in technology, I am so excited about the opportunity to become WiV’s next Executive Director. I’ve always had a passion for exploring ways to use technology to make life better and have celebrated many wins over my 15 years of combining a clinical background in speech-language pathology with the implementation of new technologies.
With my extensive background in operational management and community-building as a clinician and entrepreneur, I’ve had numerous opportunities to recognize how valuable strategic partnerships are to enabling organizations to reach their goals.
I’m eager to get to the work of expanding our impact as we continue the mission of elevating women and minority genders in voice technology across the world.
